Portland Hiking Trails

Portland hiking trails are a great way to get exercise outdoors. We took a peek at Marquam Nature Park, full of red maples, Douglas-fir, western red-cedar, big-leaf maple, vine maple and western hemlock trees. This park is a great location for a day of hiking in Portland, take in the elegant scenery on a long hike through the Marquam Trail. This hiking trail goes through the park and up to Council Crest then connects to Wildwood Trail which is a little north of the Oregon Zoo.  Come check out the park this weekend

Our next Portland hiking trail is located in Linnton Park, just under 10 miles from downtown Portland. The Linnton Loop Hike is moderate and very family friendly, open all year long, it is about a 5.2 miles from start to finish.  This hike can get wet and a little muddy, may drop steeply in some areas, make sure to bring waterproof clothing and hiking boots during the rainy season. If you enjoy the great outdoors and want to get some time away from the city this weekend, come up to Linnton Park!
